Japanese Sports Car : Nissan 370Z the Fairlady Z

Nissan 370Z (known as the Fairlady Z in Japan) is a sports car produced by Nissan Motors.  He was 29 Announced in October 2008 and was the first time an event in Los Angeles for the 2008 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show demonstrated before they officially unveiled at the show itself. The 370Z is the sixth generation of the Nissan Z-car line, the successor to the 350Z.

Nissan 370Z Engineering

Compared to the Nissan 350Z, the Nissan 370Z a wheelbase 4 in (100 mm) shorter 100.4 in (2,550 mm) and a total length of 2.7 in (69 mm) shorter 167.1 in (4240 mm). The overall width has increased by 1.3 (33 mm), the rear track by 2.2 in (56 mm) and height of 0.3 in the reduced (7.6 mm). The smaller size and use of lightweight materials to help reduce the weight more. (Although it should be noted that a base model 350Z 2003-2005 is actually lighter than the 370Z). The 370Z has an aluminum front subframe, aluminum-alloy engine mount, aluminum door panels, all aluminum hood and an aluminum hatch.

 

Front body torsional rigidity by 10 percent with a completely redesigned body structure, a new front suspension cradle to forward covers to reduce body roll, new structural supports to the rear and a sub-bottom “V-Bar improved to encourage help, back-bending. Other improvements include the use of a carbon fiber composite material cooler housing and the strengthening of the rear fenders and hatch areas. Rear body torsional rigidity up 22 percent and rear body vertical stiffness improved improved to 30 percent. The new structure weighs slightly less than the 350Z.

 

The drag coefficient is 0.30 and 0.29 with the sport package, with numbers identical to the Nissan 350Z. Nissan has the clutch and brakes on the Nissan 350Z 370Z. The brakes are more expensive Brembo Racing brakes, brake Nissan brand, manufactured by Akebono changed.

Nissan 370Z Coupe 2009

 

The coupe version was introduced in 2009. This base model was offered in both manual and automatic transmission, both with unleaded petrol. The engine is a 3.7-liter V6 delivers 245 kW (329 hp) and 365 N * m (269 ft • lbf) torque. Standard equipment includes 19-inch wheels, Bluetooth, power seats, limited slip differential, Bose sound system and a subwoofer, CD changer with front loader, heated seats and climate control.

Nismo 370Z 2009

 

The Nismo version was introduced for 2009 model. The engine produces 350 hp min (260 kW) at 7400 rpm and 276 lb ft * (374 N * m) at 5,200 rpm with revised ECU settings, exhaust setup. Transmission choice is limited to a 6-speed manual transmission with the new Nissan “SynchroRev Match” function. Handling is improved with stiffened springs and stabilizer compared to the 370Z coupe. Other equipment includes 19-inch RAYS forged aluminum wheels with Yokohama Advan Sport Y-rated tires (P245/40ZR19 front, P285/35ZR19 rear), 14.0-inch front and 13.8-inch rear ventilated disc brakes, Nismo Brakes Sport 4 – calipers front and rear 2-piston aluminum calipers and a fully integrated chin spoiler.
The car went on sale until June 17, 2009 with an MSRP of U.S. $ 39.130.

Nissan 370Z Roadster (2010-present)

The convertible model was introduced for the 2010 model. It has a soft-top roof, although car magazines said originally was to have a hardtop.

 

The traveling exhibition model adds heated and cooled leather-appointed power seats, a 6-CD Bose audio system with eight speakers (with dual subwoofer) MP3/WMA playback, XM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System, HomeLink Universal Transceiver, and aluminum trimmed pedals.
Touring model can also:
Sport package adds 19-inch forged wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires rays, Nissan Sport brakes SynchroRev game (6-speed manual transmission), and rayon slip differential.
Navigation Package: Adds Touch-Screen Nissan hard drive navigation system with XM NavTraffic real-time traffic in information, a 9.3GB Music Box hard drive for digital music storage and playback and a USB port for iPod connectivity.

Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition (2010)

This model is a limited version of the 370Z Coupe Touring is based, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the arrival Datsun 240Z in North America. It includes transmission, Sport package (including SynchroRev game against chin spoiler, rear spoiler, Nissan sports brakes, 19-inch Rays forged aluminum wheels and viscous limited-slip differential), special “40th Quartz” exterior color, red leather interior, a high-gloss surface smoke wheels, red brake calipers, 40th Anniversary logo on the rear and front strut tower brace, red door panels, 40th Anniversary back and embroidered floor mats and red stitching stack in the middle, shift boot and knee pads. It has to even a leather steering wheel with red stitching, a plaque of authenticity and commemorative coins premium satin car.
The vehicle went on sale in spring 2010.
