The Jaguar E-Type (UK) or XK-E (US) is a British automobile manufactured by Jaguar between 1961 and 1975. Its combination of good looks, high performance, and competitive pricing established the marque as an icon of 1960s motoring. A great success for Jaguar, over seventy thousand E-Types were sold during its lifespan.

A James Bond Aston Martin with machine guns marketed for $4.6 million dollars, less than its figure, as collectors tested the auction marketplace for traditional automobiles in London.
The price of Aston Martin DB5 price of 2.9 million pounds which include 12 % fees last evening compared to a presale minimal guesstimate hammer selling price of ₤3.5 million. It obtained been described as “the most renowned automobile in the world” by expert sellers RM Auctions, which ran the auction in association with Sotheby’s.
“To create a show, RM took in some cars at bullish estimate levels,” Neil Dickens, director of Wiltshire, U.K.- based dealership the Hairpin Co., said in an interview. “It’s business as usual. Rich people are still looking for the best cars in original condition.”
About Aston Martin Company is a British manufacturer of luxury sports cars, based in Gaydon, Warwickshire. The company name is derived from the name of one of the company’s founders, Lionel Martin, and from the Aston Hill speed hillclimb near Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire. It also designs and engineers cars which are manufactured by Magna Steyr in Austria.

The 1963 Aston Martin DB5 was an improved DB4. The DB series was named after David Brown (the head of Aston Martin from 1947–1972).
The DB5 is famous for being the first and most recognised cinematic James Bond car. It has been featured in several films, most notably Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Casino Royale.
The principal differences between the DB4 and DB5 are: The engine was enlarged from 3.7 L to 4.0 L, A new five-speed transmission . Three SU carburettors, producing 282 bhp (210 kW), propelling the car to 145 mph (233 km/h): this engine, available on the Vantage (high powered) version of the DB4 since March 1962, became the standard Aston Martin power unit with the launch in September 1963 of the DB5.
