The Pontiac GTO is a car of Pontiac division of General Motors in the United States from 1964 to 1974 and built by GM subsidiary Holden in Australia from 2004 to 2006. It is an innovative and now considered classic muscle car of the year 1960 and 1970. From 1964 to mid-1973 was developed in close cooperation with the Pontiac Tempest / Le Mans and are based on the model year 1974 Pontiac Ventura was used.
