Tesla VS Porsche
Electric Sport Car VS Gasoline Sport Car
If the name of the Tesla Roadster sports in the vicinity of the new Porsche Boxster Spyder 2011 was in pencil, I was quiet. The possible things that normally differentiate against the participants are generally not very pleasant small things – a few cc’s an equally unexpected turbocharger. This we can only chew on multiple pages.
As in heaven, we get our arms around two cars driven by different sources, using very different ways of decision making power?
By considering them simply as … two sports cars. And no more speculation. Global Warming, battery industry, infrastructure and the taxation – the whole host of peripheral issues currently swirling electric vehicles – will be professionally answered by our esteemed colleagues in the journal Science. But how well these cars perform like sports cars? For babies, the Motor Trend test team cracking our knuckles in anticipation.

The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 is designed to be a modern 300SL Gullwing revival. The car has a long bonnet, the passenger compartment is close to the rear axle and the rear of the car is short. The SLS AMG will also adapt the feature of wing doors that will swing open upwards on gas struts, not in a mix of upwards and forward like the SLR. The doors must be closed manually as AMG engineers decided against auto-closing systems because the systems would have added 90 pounds (41 kg) to the car. In case of a roll-over, the doors can be fully detached to allow the occupants to leave the vehicle.
The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 has an engine of 6.3 liters. The materials used for the construction of this unit are all light weight and of the highest quality. Because of this, the car accelerates with ease as it reaches a top speed of 186 miles per hour. The brakes, suspensions, and aerodynamics went through a series of modifications in order to achieve the best performance.
