The Bugatti type 41 known as Bugatti Royale was produced in 1927-1933. Made only 6 from originally planned 25, Bugatti Royale is now one of the rarest cars in the world. Bugatti firstly intended to sell the Royale cars to royalties, as the cars’ name suggests. However, even royalties could not afford to buy such luxurious cars in time of Great Depression. Only 3 of 6 cars finally managed to find their buyers, none of them were royalties.
The Royale is a large luxury car with a 4.3 m (169.3 in) wheelbase and 6.4 m (21) length. It weighs about 3175 kg (7000 lbs) and uses a 12.7 L (12 763 cc/778 in ³) straight-8 engine.
By comparison, the Royale is about as heavy as a large, modern commercial pickup and a Ford Super Duty F-450, but it is about 10% longer. In the modern Rolls-Royce Phantom is compared, it is more around 20% and more than 25% heavier.

The Rolls Royce Ghost is a smaller luxury saloon automobile from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The “Ghost” nameplate, named in honour of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906, was announced in April 2009 at the Auto Shanghai show. During development, the Ghost was known as the “RR04.” Designed aiming for a lower price category for Rolls models, the expected retail price will be around £170,000 (US$255,000). The production model was officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Rolls Royce Ghost is the essence of Rolls-Royce in its simplest, purest form. Every inch delivers on the power of simplicity.
The classic Rolls-Royce proportions are all present and correct: the 2:1 ratio of the height of the wheels to the height of the body; the long wheelbase and bonnet; the short overhang at the front and long overhang at the rear.
Exterior Designer, Andreas Thurner says “…it looks natural, not styled”. Its powerful presence leaves no doubt that it’s cut from the same cloth as the rest of the marque – exactly what we set out to achieve.

The Rolls Royce Phantom VII British sedan is a automobile made by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, in England. It was launched in 2003. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé, are both based on the 2003 Phantom.
The Rolls Royce Phantom uses a unique chassis platform, body, interior, and retains traditional Rolls-Royce design cues. The body is mostly aluminium.
Final assembly, including all body, paint, wood, and leather work, is completed to each customer’s individual specification at the Rolls-Royce plant in Goodwood, West Sussex. The plant is down the street from the historic Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit.
The plant contains the paint shop, body shop, leather shop, woodworking shop, assembly line, and executive offices under one roof. There are only two robots in the factory. The two robots paint the body; the paint is polished by hand after the robots spray each coat. The coachlines, which are exactly 3mm wide, are also done, as well as all other work is done, by hand, in keeping with the Rolls-Royce tradition.
